A test mule donning the new twin-cylinder was spotted for the first time in Spain. The new, parallel-twin engine will reportedly displace 750 cc, and run on carburetors rather than fuel injection. That being said, a fuel injected version is rumoured to be in the works. The new motor will also feature dual overhead camshafts and oil cooling. Power and torque outputs are expected to be over 50 hp and around 60 Nm respectively.

The new engine will be seen on a whole range of products. Back in May 2015, Eicher Motors Managing Director and CEO, Siddhartha Lal, had confirmed that two new engine platforms were under development, based on which multiple products could be launched. He further stated that the new products will be in the range of 250 cc – 750 cc and the company expects to introduce them starting next year.

There is still no word about the expected arrival timeframe of the new motorcycle range. We’d keep you posted about all the latest updates as and when they arrive. Meanwhile.
