This bike is powered by 97cc air-cooled 4-stroke single cylinder engine. With over 24.8 lakh units sold in the financial year (FY) 2015–2016, Hero Splendor is the most popular two-wheeler in India.

  1. Honda Activa

The launch of the Activa in 2000 revolutionized the appearance of two-wheelers. It is the fourth generation 109cc unisex scooter with a single cylinder engine. Available in several colors, approximately 24.6 lakh units of the Activa were sold in FY 2015-16 making it the second most popular two-wheeler.

  1. Hero HF Deluxe

This 97cc single-cylinder engine bike offers a mileage of 83kmpl. It is available in five colors and is one of the most popular models in the 100cc two-wheeler segment. In the previous year, over 11.4 lakh units of the Hero HF Deluxe were sold.

  1. Hero Passion Pro i3s

It comes with a 97cc air-cooled single cylinder engine with a fuel efficiency of 84kmpl. The Hero Passion has a stylish body and modern features. More than 11.3 lakh units of this model were sold in the last financial year.

  1. Honda CB Shine

The Honda CB Shine is a 125cc single cylinder air-cooled engine motorcycle targeting the mass market. This model provides a fuel efficiency of 65kmpl, which makes it popular in the 125cc segment.

  1. Hero Glamour

A leader in the 125cc segment, the Hero Glamour is powered by 124.7cc air-cooled single cylinder engine. It gives a mileage of 55kmpl with modern features. Last year, over 6.7 lakh units of Hero Glamour were sold.

  1. Bajaj Pulsar

Launched in November 2001, the Bajaj Pulsar is popular amongst the Indian youth. It is powered by a 149cc single cylinder air-cooled engine and gives a mileage of 65kmpl. Over 6.1 lakh units of Bajaj Pulsar were sold in the last year.

  1. Bajaj CT

It is one of the most affordable motorcycles in the 100cc segment. Powered by a single cylinder air-cooled engine, the bike gives a mileage of 89kmpl. The manufacturer sold over 5.9 lakh units in the last financial year and is slowly climbing up the best-sellers’ ladder in the country.

  1. TVS Jupiter

This is a 109cc model powered by a single cylinder air-cooled engine. It gives a mileage of 56kmpl and is the second most popular scooter in India. With more than 5.3 lakh units sold last year, the Jupiter is tenth on the most popular two-wheelers list.
