Two-wheeler manufacturers are currently clearing their inventory before the new emission guidelines commence from April 1, 2017. The future of the unsold BSIII rated compliant models is still uncertain. Automakers in India would have to furnish a detailed report about these vehicles to the Supreme Court, based on which, the Apex Count will decide whether to allow the sales of those products post March 31, 2017.

Manufacturers such as Kawasaki and Honda were offering their products at discounted prices to clear their respective inventory and if latest reports are to be believed, Ducati has joined the bandwagon too.
